The staff were welcoming helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and well presented with everything we needed and the breakfast was freshly prepared, good quality, well presented and delicious. A lovely place to stay.

It’s the first time we have stayed in the hotel and it won’t be the last. Everything and everyone could not have been more attentive and accommodating. My ONLY negative (which was my choice) was our room was located on the second floor and when we book the next time I would select a first floor room.

We stayed at the Craven Heifer for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding at Bolton Abbey. The location was ideal for us. Addingham is a lovely villlage in a beautiful spot. The staff on Reception and in the restaurant/ bar were lovely - so friendly, welcoming & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast and dinner were excellent (we can highly recommend the steak pie). Whilst the bathroom was quite large, the room itself wasn’t huge but had everything we could possibly need and was very clean. We would stay again.

Lovely accommodation in quaint village

A comfortable bed, excellent pillows and head support. Also, very good facilities and friendly Staff. Breakfast was plentiful if required and varied. Kieran, the general manager dealt with every eventuality swiftly and graciously.

“Chuffin Eck” was “Chuffin Great”

We stayed in “Chuffin Eck” a cricket themed room with a firm, comfortable bed. The refreshments tray contains everything you need to make a lovely cuppa plus two bottles of water and biscuits, which were all very welcome. The restaurant was clean and welcoming and served the most delicious evening meal and breakfast. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. I would recommend the Craven Heifer Addingham.

No beans for breakfast but took 20 mins to let us know by which time breakfast was cold. The staff were booking us a taxi back from the wedding and when we rang company they had no knowledge. Overall lovely hotel but very dopey staff lets it down

We were attending a wedding at the Tithbarn at Bolton Abby. The craven arms accommodated our early arrival so we could change prior to the wedding. The room was perfect and the breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Tithe Barn visit

Stayed at this hotel as we were attending a wedding nearby. Perfect base Superb food Perfect location Superb service Would without a doubt visit again. The team were very obliging with all our requests. Taxi to the Tithe barn less than £10 each way.

Overpriced, Dirty, Dated and Cold.

We paid twice what you’d have expected for this type of poor accommodation; we relied on the photos and didn’t want to stay at a nearby Best Western. Decent, reasonably priced hotels are hard to come by in the area. It was an uncomfortable stay. The room was listed as the “Romantic Cabaret” room; there was nothing romantic about this run down, dirty and freezing room. The carpets were dirty and in need of vacuuming, the shower power lacked power, the shower head was moldy, the street lights shone through the curtains all night, the heat was off until the morning while it was minus 3 overnight. The bed was uncomfortable with cheap bedding. The rooms are above the pub; they look like a bad DIY job. We ate at the pub; the food and drink was acceptable, and the service friendly, and the stay included a decent breakfast. However, I would never recommend the place for accommodation. At £130 for the night, I felt like we were robbed…
