Loved how close it was to the airport. Loved the shuttle driver. The wait to check in was horrible. Only place we stayed in Costa Rica with no hair dryer. The food was horrible. There was one waitress and the food was cold and didn’t taste good. We got the Surf and turf and it was the worst meal in our whole stay in Costa Rica. There was coffee and green juice and water for the very long wait while we checked in. Beds were comfy and there was hot water.

The check-in process at this Hilton Garden Inn was the absolute worst experience we have ever had in the 20+ years of being honors members. The service was extraordinarily slow, very unfriendly, on the verge of rude! The front desk staff moved at a snails pace. Rooms were not ready. The lobby was full of very unhappy customers.

The hotel is a nice property and very conveniently located to the airport. The staff was very friendly and was doing their best. It took two hours to get our room after check in, long wait lines during check in, service in restaurant and bar is VERY slow. I do not fault the support staff. Rather, lack of management/supervisor support and employees not fully trained with zero oversight of any sort of management. Bless their hearts for keeping a positive, kind attitude.
