Lorikeet Cabin is one of four cabins at Nungurner’s Jetty View, conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Metung and a 15-minute drive from Lakes Entrance, making it an ideal base for you to explore the region.

Perched above the picturesque Gippsland Lakes, the cabin features a fully equipped kitchen and a deck with stunning lake views for you to enjoy. The property has a BBQ area and fireplace facilities (byo wood). If you’d like to get out on the water, you can take advantage of a private jetty, complimentary kayaks for guests, and a boat ramp suitable for small craft.

The location is very picturesque, and promises you a serene escape from everyday life. Very peaceful place to stay. The cabins are cosy and perfect for a small family. The surrounding environment was fabulous... beautiful pristine. The pier is right next door. Loved the morning visits by the many types of parrots and bird seeds provided for feeding them

Clean and simple. Beautiful outlook and birdlife to basque in. Not much in the way of creature comforts if after a lounge day. But we spent 3 days out and about. Bbq works well. Location is about as good as it gets for quiet and peaceful with fantastic beach for kids and fishing.

Serenity by the water

We had a very restful stay away from the hustle and bustle of the inner suburbs of Melbourne. Situated right above the Nungurner Jetty meant we could hear the water lapping right outside our door. It was very peaceful and the cabin was spotless. We were blessed with a wide variety of birds visiting daily and it was very handy to have the bird book to be able to identify them. Metung and Lakes Entrance are 10-15 minute drives in either direction so we had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the Wyanga Park winery cruise and lunch at the famous floating Sodafish restaurant. Would highly recommend for a short stay to get to know the area if you don't already know it.
