Spacious design hotel in the centre of town

Very very comfortable and very very spacious rooms. Lovely staff and a convenient early morning bakery onsite. Right in the middle of town.

Great hotel, fantastic restaurant

Wonderful hotel, modern clean rooms. The pool is amazing and the view from pool is wonderful. Had dinner in the restaurant it was exceptional, we had the fish soup, one of the best meals I’ve had in Europe.

We really enjoyed our stay at Karl August, visited for my birthday and the hotel left me a pastry in the room which was a lovely touch. Staff were friendly, location was perfect and the rooftop spa was a dream. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Great location in the heart of Nuremberg’s old town. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished. And the staff we encountered were both attentive and competent. This was our fourth time in Nuremberg but our first at this hotel. We will be back.

Overall, the hotel is very nice, so no complaints with the hotel overall. Very close to town, literally feet. The only complaint I would have was lack of towels in the room was surprising, and the bed lacked a cover. The room was a bit small. Certainly worth staying there again

Check-in and out went very smoothly. Room, pool, and sauna were excellent. Cleaning staff and restaurant staff during breakfast were lovely and helpful. You can walk to almost anything you wish and it’s very conveniently located for visiting the Christkindelsmarkt. We would definitely stay here again!
