Check-in was great! Upon arriving in the room, we did a 'walk around' per usual to find a pair of dirty sweatpants in the closet. The 'maintenance' closet next to the fridge has ALWAYS been locked and was unlocked to our surprise. We were even more surprised to open that door to black mold ALL over the closet walls!! This must have been what they've been 'hiding' behind locked doors in years past! The bathroom appeared clean but there were pubic hairs all over the bathtub so it must not have been cleaned after all. We had the heat set to 70* and the main level was freezing due to cold air seeping in around the door from outside and the loft was unpleasantly warm no matter what we changed the thermostat too. This was our 5th annual trip and we've always stayed here but it's starting to seem very run down and sad to say this will be our last stay unless things change! Parking seemed to be a huge issue this year as well, it would be nice if each room had a reserved spot and excess cars could park at the front of the lot!

The room had not been updated in a while. Fireplace was unfinished. Carpet soiled. Curtains torn. Deck was unusable. They use flat sheets in place of fitted and didn't even cover the mattress pad. I asked for it to be corrected and they just moved the sheet around.

We only stayed one night. The room is clean, the bed was comfortable, the kitchenette that was nice. All of the dishes were in the dishwasher so I had to put them away. No big deal there.

I expect shower gel. Not an empty bottle. Breakfast was very poor in relation to other 2 star properties. Dishwasher was full of dishes. Front desk can’t make change. Don’t maintain a cash drawer.

The room was aged and not very well kept. The entire complex was more like extended stay/apts. The room smelled like cig smoke. The dishwasher was full of dishes, the amenities in the room such as sugar, creamer were not well stocked. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We more than likely won't stay there again.

The staff were fantastic and the main building was super welcoming. The pull out sleeper bed/couch was unfortunately visibly dirty - both the couch part and the mattress pad that was already on the bed. The toilet was clogged when we got there late (not visibly but it wouldn’t fill up with water) and the next morning we had to ask 3 times before we got a plunger. It worked for a quick place to sleep for a short trip - if the couch and toilet issues weren’t there it would’ve been a 5-star.

The staff member in the office during the evening was helpful, informative and friendly. I appreciate his customer service. I chose this property because of good reviews, location and had stayed at a Sonesta in another city. But during my first night I discovered the heating unit did not work and there were no blankets or comforters in the room. I started calling the office at 6am but there was no answer and was told later the phone system wasn't working. when I went to the office I requested another room but was told maintenance would come at 8am to verify the unit was not working but no one came until I went back to the office and discovered they had apparently forgotten. I had to request another room again before being moved so I could pack up and move to a different room and finally shower in a room with heat.This delayed my going to see my family, the reason for my trip. The manager only said so sorry and said she would see about any compensation after I requested it. But I have not heard back from her and don't expect to hear anything from the manager.

The room was not what they advertised. It was supposed to be a fireplace. The downstairs room was open no door. It said it was supposed to be private. The bathroom upstairs has used bath towels in it. I had to rent another room elsewhere to entertain my family because the bedroom wasn't private . I paid $161 per night. That a lot of money to get shafted. Actually it called bait and switch which is illegal. The guy at the front desk said there was nothing he could to accommodate us. I will be posting a Google review soon. private.
