It has a golf course, skate park, mini-golf and arcade, restaurants, ice cream shops, a grocery store and a new Publix, a splash pad for the kids, parks, fishing either on shore or one of our piers, nature trails, multiple beach accesses, ocean access, inlet access and the Intracoastal Waterway accesses as well. This home is not far from the new bridge, which allows easy access getting on/off the island. You can enjoy the shops and dining of close by Southport nestled in where the Cape Fear River, Intracoastal Waterway and the ocean meet. The views are breathtaking. From there you can take a ferry either to beautiful Bald Head Island for a day trip or a ferry to Fort Fisher and visit the aquarium. The North Carolina Battleship is a favorite destination in nearby downtown Wilmington and Myrtle Beach is just south for even more to do.
