There wasn't a clear pathway to get to the house. It was all covered with several inches of snow on a steep treacherous incline. In addition there were dozens of dead bugs on the windows sills. I had to clean the dead bugs on the living room and kitchen. Maintenance came Saturday morning to clean the bedrooms. The WI-FI didn't work, even after they reset the router. They offered to send a second tech on Sunday when we were leaving.

Beautiful view! I just wish the property management side of things was handled better. There really is no place to park, so it would probably be helpful if either a spot on the road was marked off for it, or at the least, if guests were allowed to park in the Taylor-Made Vacation Rental Office Building that is only 3 houses up the street. Also there is nowhere to put the trash for it to be picked up in front of the property. We were instructed to put the trash in the shed out back and it was apparent that no one had collected the trash from there in months. Also the coffee pot was full with leftover coffee and grinds which had built up months worth of mold. The cleaners are clearly not doing a thorough job.

Cute place with updated furnishings and appliances, right across the street from Deep Creek Lake boat rentals, jet skis, restaurants and Lakeside Creamery. 15 minute drive to Swallow Falls and quick drive to any other activity offered.
