Superb hotel with great front of house staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. Meal choices and food quality was fantastic; Andy and Precious were brilliant and very friendly staff members. I would definitely stay here again.

Short Stay

Arrived 2 1/2 hrs early and told we had an upgrade, which was nice as it had a sea view, however the room wasn't ready yet, so asked to come back at check-in time. When we got to our room, the bathroom floor didn't look clean, my wife wiped it and it was dirty, dusty and lots of hair, there was also flecks of paper on the bedroom floor. I took the sample down to reception, they were very apologetic and gave us a further upgrade stating there had been a breakdown in communication with housekeeping. The final room was better, great views, warm, comfortable bed, warm shower. Overall the staff were pleasant and apologetic, however a checklist for Housekeeping might be beneficial. The is limited parking, however you can park at their sister hotel the Alexandra. We helped a disabled couple up the stairs with their luggage as the access is not at ground level, so i would check external accessibility.

Stay was great, the hotel has done a great job of the refurb and our room was lovely, bathroom was great as well. Only off putting thing was the light in our room flickered constantly but the light of the telly light the room. The room was also very cold and the heating took a long time to heat the room up

A superb check in experience by the South African lady on reception...wish I knew her name.Lovely welcome. Yes the room was a little tired but it was comfortable and had a great sea view.Breakfast could have been a bit warmer but given the price paid I think the whole experience was fine for a one night stay.

Needs better prentation

Hotel has been refurbished in parts. Our room was small but the bed was so comfortable. Small things need to still be addressed- toilet seat not fixed firmly, flickering light in bathroom not fixed. Staff didn’t seem to be focused on customer care as one fellow was on his phone the whole time when in reception. Service at bar was very disappointing. Outside entry was dangerous in wet weather.
