Great stay in Oban

Charming hotel. Beautifully appointed with an attentive and pleasant staff. Great breakfast! Location is perfect - short walk into town but far enough away to be quiet. A real find. Highly recommended.

Sara at Check in was very sweet and helpful when we arrived. She showed us the property and the amenities and gave great recommendations as well. We booked last minute and were very pleasantly surprised with the whole venue and staff. Dinner was fantastic at Porcini ! Will definitely being staying again when we return to Oban!

This is a wonderful hotel! Extremely friendly staff. Very nice breakfast, which is included in the price of your stay. The hotel is beautifully decorated and is very cozy. The beds were comfortable. Great shower with excellent water pressure. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The hotel is along the waterfront and is a short walk away from shops and restaurants. The town of Oban is lovely! Overall, I highly recommend!

What an amazing hotel, one that offers “ old fashioned high quality service” yet in a very modern and efficient environment. The views from the lounge/breakfast across the bay are wonderful.

Absolutely amazing service at this lovely boutique hotel Great lounge with an amazing view of the water where we enjoyed cocktails, fabulous breakfast, and lots of areas to sit and relax. Our room was a little small and at times we heard other guests in the hall, but we played white noise through the supplied Bluetooth speaker and had a great sleep. Lots of hot water. Just a fabulous stay - the service was beyond exceptional. I would absolutely book this hotel again.

Let me share an example how well the staff is trained. I start work earlier when travelling for pleasure. I was up and very quietly working in the lounge to avoid bothering my spouse’s sleep. Within minutes the overnight manager found me and I had an Americano within seconds. Perfect

It is an older hotel with a decor upgrade. If you have rooms above you, you will be able to hear everything including them walking around in their room. Do not recommend for light sleepers. Room and bathroom are more on the compact side. Wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay as there isn’t really room for suitcases.

The big bonus for this hotel is the staff, they are very friendly and helpful, plus the room we had was quiet, had a great shower and all the facilities we needed for an overnight stay. It has lovely views from its terrace and we had drinks on it watching the sunset. We also enjoyed our breakfast and dinner at it as well.

This is a gorgeous property. Fun interior design and great restaurant. The service the first night was unpleasant and slightly unfriendly with no help for baggage and no lift. The next mornings service was amazing with a great lady working breakfast.

No17 The Promenade is a lovely boutique hotel. It is located just outside of the center of Oban, a brisk 10 minute walk along the boardwalk from the downtown. The views of the harbor from the lounge and the restaurant are great, the furnishings are colorful and with lots of character and the hotel staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is fantastic—we loved both our dinner and our breakfast the next morning. We’ll be certain to return!

Absolutely fantastic! We stayed here for 4 nights and every morning they serve you an amazing breakfast. Aysha, who I believe was the managers name, was spectacular and by far the best experience we have had traveling!

Beautiful hotel

We had a great weekend at No 17, could not fault the hotel at all. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely, equipped with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from. All in all we had a lovely relaxing time and will definitely be back.
