The hotel was very comfortable. The room we were given was on the ground floor - coincidentally a handicapped room so it was amply spacious with a huge bathroom. The breakfast was very good. Parking was the only inconvenience. It was on the street and it was necessary to feed the meter every 2 hours. The town is interesting and good for walking, but most restaurants are closed from 3:00 to 5:00, it was hard to find a late lunch.

Best in Oban.

From check in to check out I’ve no complaints, staff easy to deal with amd so friendly, nice comfortable bed and hot shower what more do you need. I also left an article of clothing so phoned up the next day and the staff posted it back to me, fantastic service. Room was spotless and the housekeeping was perfect.

Nice boutique style hotel

Lovely boutique style hotel close to pier and amenities. Lovely clean modem room. Nice shower room. We’re staying in a different room for our second night and hotel very kindly gave us early access.

Convenient location, close to everything. Room was rather small but nice. Parking was street parking on a meter that had to be updated ever 2 hrs during the day….restrictive.

The Randal was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and breakfast was great! We were happy with our choice to choose The Randal. It was only a 5 minute walk from the Oban Train Station. I would highly recommend this hotel

When we arrived the rooms were not ready but the reception area toilet was not working so we had to leave the hotel to find a bathroom after our 3 hour drive there. Also there is no lift and the stairway is very narrow. It was difficult for me to get our large North Face rolling duffel bags up to the room 3 floors up. The staff seemed indifferent to our arrival. Choice of hotels is limited in Oban but I would try the Perle Oban Hotel in the future. We had 5 people in 3 rooms.
