The property did not meet expectations based on photos online. The room was not maintained at all. It was relatively clean, but mirror was missing a panel around the frame, the AC unit was falling apart, there were claw marks all over the chairs, there were stains on the table and windows, and the sheets had stains on them that looked like blood or food. We called the office and he said he would send someone to change the sheets, but within the next 3 hours, no one came by. The outside also smelled really strong of weed and possibly urine from the animals staying there. We went to the office and they refunded us for the room so we could go stay somewhere else. The staff was nice, but we would not recommend this place.

The front desk staff were friendly and quickly took care of us when we arrived. The room size and conveniences were very good. Unfortunately the good aspects were completely ruined by how filthy everything was. Debris all over the floor. It looked like it had blown in from the sliding doors. The towels, washcloths and rug were all dingy and stained. The baseboards looked like they've never been cleaned and the shower caulking was gross. The hallway carpet looks like it's never been vacuumed and the grounds are very neglected. Hiring someone to take care of the property grounds and some professional cleaners with a truck load of bleach would go a long ways to making it a pleasant stay.

Nasty do not stay.

The room wasn’t clean, showers disgusting. Floors wasn’t steeped or mopped. The room had black mold on walls and ceiling. Mattress was old with lots of stains and had mold on it . No iron in room to check for bedbugs. No coffee pot. The loveseat was nasty dirty. Would not recommend would love to have my money back. Oh, they charge you before you check in and when you check in, they tell you that the room isn’t clean if you can come back later.. even in the lobby of the hotel was filthy. Just very disappointed.. should have taken pictures but wanted to get out of there.

1. I am Disabled and they made NO Provisions what so ever and even put me on the second floor. 2. I injured myself Checking Out. 3.. Half the time there is no water. 4. A lot of litter, not enough garbage cans 5. Incredible RUDE Staff, especially Housekeeping 5. Way below average Communication between Staff members. The room was okay.

It was terrible. When I saw the room I wanted to run out of there. First I looked at the room it looked dusty the sheets of the bed have yellow stains, the pillows were very dirty, the air looked like they hadn't cleaned it in years. I wanted to leave, but I was afraid they wouldn't give me my money back. It was also too late and many more things I saw that i didn’t like i felt that they don't care about the hospitality of the customers.sorry that was my experience.

Ocala hotels are so expensive that $170 buys you A tired old property with just enough interior room renovations to make it not completely cringe-worthy to lay your body on the bed. Absolutely no amenities, I mean no Kleenex in the bathroom and no mirror in room. Took several tries to adjust the shower water temperature. And so on.

Our stay overall was acceptable. The front staff was friendly and courteous. The price was affordable. The room was large enough for two to 4 people with a balcony and a small kitchenette was nice. Though the cleanliness of the room was not up to standards. The bathroom was just a quick wipe down. There was dirt and hairs all over. Housekeeping came up to re-clean it but again it was just with a spray bottle. I would suggest that hotels/motels all change their shower heads to hand held shower heads to make it easier for the housekeeping staff to clean the showers properly. There is only so much you can do with the tools you are given. It would be much more cost effective to change out shower heads then to have customers leave a subpar review. The smoke detector was also missing from the room which is a violation of the county fire codes. The grounds were nice and if it had been summertime I am sure that the beautiful pool would get some use. I would give the establishment a 5 out of 10. The app at Hotels.com will not let me update photos.
