Even at 2/5 stars, there were a few positives. The location is excellent—being directly on the strand with unobstructed ocean views was the highlight of our stay. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels. We did not receive access instructions until about an hour after check-in, which was frustrating, though the host did call to apologize. The parking spot itself was useful, but the listing should clearly state that it is tandem parking and requires coordination with the other unit.This property is more affordable for the location, but there are significant drawbacks to be aware of. The unit is old and noticeably worn, with multiple lights not working and a strong mildew smell in the bedroom near the entrance. The WiFi was unreliable and went out repeatedly, requiring us to contact the host, who then had to coordinate with the upstairs guests to restore it. Noise was the biggest issue—the walls and ceilings are extremely thin. While some noise is expected in a lower unit, we could clearly hear conversations, music, and every footstep from above, making it difficult to relax.The hosts were responsive, and the location and views are great. However, due to the condition of the unit, unreliable WiFi, parking confusion, and excessive noise, we would not stay here again despite the prime location.
