Excellent check in so start my stay, friendly and helpful and before I left for my room, he asked if I had any water and then he gave me two bottles. Room was clean up to date and had a 55” tv, with easy remote. King Bed was comfy and firm, room had an updated mini split HVAC system with remote. Shower had pump bottles of nice bodywash, shampoo and conditioner, sink had pump bottle of nice liquid soap and other toiletries. The only minor issue and not the hotels fault, the train to all coastal cities in San Diego county runs nearby and has a pretty loud horn at road crossings.

Staff was great, breakfast was surprisingly good. The room was clean but there was a gap in the slider were the glass had slid down the frame so you could hear the traffic noise and cold air came in. I would say the neighborhood was a bit sketchy
