We stayed at Pony Island passing through Ocracoke last year. We were so impressed that we intentionally booked to stay there on our way through again this year. The place is simple. No frills. It’s super clean, though, and the staff is fantastic! The restaurant on the property has good food and good service and the pool has been well maintained during both of our stays.

For a relatively remote island, the facilities met and exceeded all my expectations. The hotel is located very close to some popular eating destinations, and the locals provide an electric tram service that can take you pretty much anywhere on the island you want to go that you don't feel like walking to. We will definitely stay here again.

Ocracoke get away

Our room was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. We loved the space with the fridge, microwave and table and chairs. The pool was nice. I would stay again! Check in and check out was great with alot of good area info given by the staff when checking in.
