Awesome place with two Achilles heel issues. Neither are fixable, and one of the two should be expected. First is noise; I did expect some subway noise, but pipe banging through the night was irritating (if you had to wake up for bathroom, otherwise not loud enough to wake you up on its' own accord). Second; woh unto anybody running late, but the elevator situation SUCKS! You are competing with bath/sauna floor, health clinic floors, plus local services, and private offices on all the other floors with a decent restaurant with views on the 14th floor to top it all off! Other than that ... 10 out of 10.

We stayed in Odawara for a night so we could drive around the Mt. Fuji/Hakone area the following day. The hotel is a short walk from the Odawara Station, located in a multi-purpose building that includes the hotel and a food court as well as shops and additional food options in an outdoor food court. The room was just below the top floor with a wonderful view of Odawara and the sea. It was comfortable and quiet, with nice amenities. The hotel is also located a few minutes walk from the Odawara Castle and park as well as other shops and restaurants in nearby areas of the city, which we enjoyed exploring before dinner. Odawara is a lovely city and this hotel's location makes it accessible. The breakfast was excellent with a great and delicious variety of Japanese and western cuisine. Upon check out, we were a short walk from the rental car company. A great stay all-around.

Getting to the hotel is tricky. They will email you the directions before arrival. Other than that everything was exceptional especially the breakfast, too many options to choose from. Onsen was good too and the convenience of this hotel located right in the train station and bus terminal cannot be beat. Would definitely recommend

A bit hard to find first, it’s in the main building adjacent to the station, very convenient if you try to visit hakone or mt omuro, Shinzuka. Room are bit dated but most spacious we stayed in Japan. Room is neat and clean, it feels like a four star hotel for sure.

Great location; very conveniently connected to the Odawara train station. There are so many restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores, etc within walking distance. The Odawara Castle is less than 10 min walk. The rooftop terrace provides a wonderful view of the castle. Good stay.

Hotel provided clear instructions to find the reception (perhaps this was in response to the people who had issues finding it - we had no problems getting from the Odawara Shinkansen platform to the Hotel reception). Friendly staff, clean modern facilities. Comfortable bed and great buffet breakfast with plenty of Japanese style foods. Rooftop footbath is excellent - very relaxing and great view. Super convenient to public transport and great base for exploring Hakone.
