The area La Mairena is located in a natural protected area (Unesco biosphere) but is still only 7 kilometres away from the best beaches of Marbella. Marbella town can be reached by car in 15 minutes and the same goes for Fuengirola.La Mairena is a beautiful natural and peaceful surrounding but only 7 kilometres from the best beaches of Marbella and 15 minutes driving into Marbella town.It is a Unesco protected biosphere with great ecological importance as there is a native cork oak forest with beautiful trails full of wildlife like foxes, wild boar and deer.
