Old and run down

Filthy, stained carpets. Holes in the shades that are supposed to be for darkening the room. No alarm clock in the room, no cups in the room. Remodeling was started apparently because there were no baseboards around the wall but they were greedy enough to still rent the room out.

The front desk clerk Fransisco was incredibly nice and thorough. He should be training the rest of the staff!

I had 5 teens on a church retreat and walking up to the door and in the entrance of the motel was the smell of weed. Very dated motel, although they are actively updating. I would not stay there again.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 days. The room was nice and clean. Staff was nice, but what really threw me off was that the tv didn’t work, the phone had no dial tone at all and within the 4 days i stayed, i got no room service. I had to go to reception and ask for a set of sheets do to it my self because according to the receptionist there was only one housekeeper doing all the second floor rooms.

While I understand that the hotel's under renovation, I do expect the room to be clean. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom, the tub hadn't been cleaned very good, there were specs from the celing plaster all over, and leftover food in the fridge.

Convenient location right off I-40 - but Noisy

Convenient location , right off I-40 . Comfortable bed and great shower. But this property is very noisy as it is next to I-40 - so it was hard to sleep. They cut corners when they were constructing it and didn't provide any soundproofing. You can hear the people in the next room, in the halls and upstairs moving about all night long. It shares a parking lot with Cracker Barrell Restaurant so that was very nice!

price and location got me to book it. but the room had a terrible smell. I thought I would get used to the smell soon as I was so tired but by morning i still smelt it and my throat was soar, bed was moist I hope it was just because of high humidity and hair in bed plus a red (looked like Blood) stain on one of the pillows. not a place I will go back to but I am not saying all rooms would be the same and if you are on an extreme tight budget you could try if. but I would check out the room before unpaking your bags.
