Hotel gone downhill

The hotel is under construction and the room had a lot of wear and tear. It used to be an ok hotel but it’s really gone downhill. Carpet stains, wallpaper peeling, and a sketchy extension cord hanging behind the coffee maker that kept getting stuck in the bathroom door were some highlights. They shouldn’t be charging $250/night for a place in this condition. Highlight is that it’s across the street from the ymca.

There’s quite a bit of construction going on inside the hotel. Luckily we were there o lm a Sunday so they weren’t working. The stay is decent enough for a night but I wouldn’t stay for multiple nights

No AC, Parking, or Breakfast

I stay in hundreds of hotels and hardly make reviews. This one unfortunately deserves a negative review. At no point was the large amount of construction advertised, nor was the fact that our room would NOT have Air Conditioning. The entire sitting area is blocked off, and from the elevator you can see a lot of construction. Parking was completely packed, and the only parking left was across the street where there were no cameras. Beds we clean, but no breakfast as advertised.

Construction Zone inside & out

Suprise! Huge remodel in progress so lobby not open. No bar, no brkst. Large noisy building project next door adjacent to pool. Sorry to say would not recommend this place at this time. Not what we expected based on previous stays.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The room was in poor condition—the carpet was dirty, there was dust everywhere (even on the bathroom cabinet), and the sink leaked constantly until the handle eventually broke off. The closet door was broken and didn’t open properly, and the screen door to the balcony kept falling off its track. To make matters worse, the balcony curtains were stained and couldn’t close all the way, which made it hard to block out light or have privacy. In addition to the condition of the room, we were not informed ahead of time that the hotel was undergoing renovations. The lobby was closed, the gym was unavailable, and many areas of the hotel were not accessible or functioning as expected. Had we known about these issues in advance, we would have reconsidered booking here. Overall, the lack of communication and the poor state of the room made for a very unpleasant experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements for future guests.

Wait until renovation is done

They are in the middle of a renovation which we didn’t know about at the time of booking. The floors in our rooms were dirty and dust covered a lot of the surfaces. The gym was also closed so we couldn’t use it. The only plus was the pool was clean.

YIKES, DO NOT STAY HERE. Especially if you are planning to stay here in the next 12 to 16 months. They are under major renovation and noise continues from 7 a.m to 5 p.m. The room carpet is stained and filthy. We asked them to reset the safe to put our valuables, fix the broken toilet sit and fix the desk lamp and never heard from them our entire time we were there. They told us about the renovation once we checked ✔️ in and was handed our room key.
