We are partnered with Zion Ponderosa Resort we have access to their resort amenities like swimming pools, hot tubs, pickleball, tennis, playground, evening events and access to some of the best views of Zion via private land access. While visiting Zion there is no better location than this. When you stay in East Zion you get to avoid crowds of Zion and have access to the best views. Plus you're only a short drive from Bryce Canyon.
This home has 6 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and it is 3650 SqFt. The garage is an amazing game room that will provide entertainment for the whole family. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. There are two king suites both with private bedroom fireplaces, balcony/deck access, walk-in showers and jetted bathtubs. Amazing canyon views off the back deck of Jollys Gulch. Direct access to the Checkerboard Mesa Overlook hiking trail, as it runs just directly behind the house. You are sure to love this home and all the amazing amenities!

Wow. Beautiful home in a beautiful place. We had room for all ten of us (5 couples) to spread out and have our own bedroom and bathroom. Large dining room table. Nice kitchen. Usable garage. Large deck overlooking a canyon. All the amenities we needed. Only negative was that the wall arcade games advertised on the listing did not work and could not be fixed. Not a biggie but just a note on the listing.

A lot of fun activities at the resort. There were several air mattresses that went flat over night. Don’t miss the hike to observation point, you look down the entire canyon and can see people climbing angels landing

Spring break trip!

Wonderful stay! The house was spacious giving everyone, 4 adults, 5 kids plenty of room to relax and have fun. Was close to the resort amenities, kids really enjoyed the pool (water was cold) and then getting in the hot tub! A gem among the trees, quiet and beautiful.

Lovely property

Beautiful property, only a few issues. TV’s needed a lot of work to get working and we still couldn’t get 1 of them running. A lot of trash left behind by previous cleaners. Food wrappers inside the beds which leads me to believe that the cleaners didn’t change sheets, cups full of cigarettes on the porch! Had specifically asked about the pool before booking and when we did book was then told the pool was closed but they had hot tubs. Asked how close they were and was told “a few mins on the trail”. Not the case! Zion ponderosa itself is run down now and needs a refresher from years past. The games room is tired and falling apart. The games room in the house is not heated so was too cold to use, I imagine in summer it’ll be too hot! All in all though if those issues at the property were fixed then there is no need to worry. I can quite imagine in the spring and summer the back porch being utterly perfect to spend some time on after a hike! Perhaps add some hammocks. Property needs;Dish drainerLarger trash can outsideColander Perhaps a boot tray outside or inside the front entryway. More than enough room in the rooms but do be warned that the ‘twin’ beds on the listing are blowup, which isn’t an issue of you are told and don’t have to go hunting for bedding!

Amazing Stay

The cabin is just wow so beautiful, they provide you with everything you might need. Also really clean and the view you get is just wow amazing. It started to snow on Christmas day so that just topped off our stay exactly what we wanted 1000000/10. Also the beds are so comfortable .

Super comfortable, private getaway

We came up to Zion for a girls trip. This rental is incredible. It beat our expectations!! Gorgeous sunset views. Close enough for easy access to Zion National Park but far enough to get away from the crowds to a very peaceful retreat. We saw wildlife every day. Every room was comfortable!! Super easy access and checkin. The resort amenities are also great! We will definitely be back.

Amazing house in a great resort near Zion

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was amazing. It is a nice size and has a good amount of bed/bathrooms for a large group. The bonus game room was enjoyed by all.
