Last minute booking
I will start with the good. We were able to book last minute after our reservation for a different property canceled last minute. We truly appreciate that as ee had no where to go. Apartment smelled very good. Beds were very comfortable and we slept great.
Okay for the not so much of a big deal but still should be documented. Apartment accommodations are supposed to be for 6. There is 1 king, 1 queen and 1 twin, this accommodates 5. We had to put 3 people in king bed. Everything was brand new as far as towels, silverware and dishes. But we had to remove the tags from every towel and open the box of silverware which only had 4 of each spoon, fork and knife. So 4 of us ate and then we had to clean for other 2 guest to eat. The master shower also leaks very badly.
And for the gross. The legs of sofa, chair, bar stools and ottoman were all completely rusted. The sofas had button things on them under each bottom was rust and lots of dirt. The pictures makes everything look so pretty but it is old and gross.
Holes in wall and pantry door in kitchen, this was due to broken door stops. This apartment is on the 3rd floor, I specifically asked if there was an elevator because I have 2 disabled children and my mom with me. I was told yes. I should have asked if there was a working elevator because it was not working for our entire stay. And to top it all off I woke up this morning to a parking violation stuck to my car because owner never registered me at a guest. Overall a nightmare. But glad we had a place to lay our heads and do our laundry.
