Overall, we were disappointed with our stay due to safety concerns, maintenance issues, and lack of communication.Security was a concern from the start. The gate pass system was difficult to use, and one entrance remained open, allowing unrestricted access. The front door also did not latch securely, and the entry code appeared predictable (house # backwards).The community itself was very noisy. A large late-night party occurred our first night, requiring multiple police calls before ending around 3am. Another similar disturbance happened the following weekend. While not the owner’s fault, it may not be ideal for families seeking a quiet stay.The home had several maintenance issues, including a leaking sink, loose molding, exposed carpet staples on the stairs, and damaged outdoor furniture. Listing photos were also outdated (outdoor TV missing).House rules and trash instructions were unclear and inconsistent, which led to issues during our stay. Internet was down for a whole day. We were told it was a service issue accross the entire neighborhood (neighbors confirmed this to be false). Finally an "electrician" was called and fixed the issue that could have been resolved first thing had we had access to the router. Additionally, service personnel arrived without prior notice, which would have been appreciated.Lastly, we saw a corpse floating in the water that only raised further concerns about the overall safety of the area.
