We recently stayed at this house while attending a cheer competition with a group of five moms and our daughters, and overall it worked well for what we needed. The house itself is very spacious, which made it comfortable for a group our size. We also really appreciated that it’s within walking distance to the clubhouse and pool.A major downside is the Wi-Fi connectivity. I needed to work during our stay, and the girls also had schoolwork to complete, but the Wi-Fi was very unreliable and dropped frequently. There is also little to no cell service in the area, so using a hotspot isn’t really an option either. If you’re planning to work remotely or need consistent internet access, this could be an issue.Another thing to note is that the pool doesn’t get a lot of sunlight. If you’re visiting around mid-April, I would recommend paying to have it heated. We’ve stayed in other homes in Storey Lake where that wasn’t necessary, but this property has bushes around the perimeter for privacy that seem to block a lot of the sun, making the pool cold.Overall though, we had a great stay. The host was very responsive and gave us all the details we needed prior to arrival. We would stay there again.
