The management at Helios Hotel at Universal accommodated me WHEN EXPEDIA WOULD NOT! EXPEDIA SENT ME CONFIRMATION OF A RESERVATION WHICH THE HOTEL NEVER RECEIVED!! When I arrived there was no reservation. Hotel staff called Expedia and they would not speak with them. I called Expedia who continued to claim there was a reservation after contacting an intermediate vendor they called RES. Neither Expedia nor this intermediate business partner would agree to speak to the Helios management to assist. I repeatedly asked to speak with a supervisor at Expedia but was told no.. that he or she would simply tell me the same thing. I am back from my trip now and plan to take this up with a local news station! Universal management could hardly believe what they had heard through my speaker phone conversation with Expedia so they provided me a room with park views and other club privileges at half the price.
