All clean but my biggest complaint is having only one floor with washers and dryers which was really annoying when trying to do laundry. The dryers were mostly air, very low heat so it was really inconvenient to dry. If you plan to wash clothes, make sure to have another day to let it hang up and dry it yourself after using the dryer.

APA to the rescue! It was a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay after an AirBnB fiasco in the immediate neighborhood. Yes, the room is tiny but it's about the only drawback, and it's fine for a solo traveler. The best thing I like about the APA chain is excellent amenities - you get clean towels and yukata every single day, plus a replenishment of essentials, like toothbrush, coffee, etc. The room is very clean, and VERY soundproofed - I literally never know whether I have neighbors above, below, or to the sides! The window opens - perfect if you want to air out the room. The water pressure and temperature consistency are great, plus a decent shower head. Some APA hotels also have pretty good onsens (this one doesn't). Basucallty, it's all a weary traveler may desire to successfully R&R. And the affordability is unmatched for the service/comfort provided.
