When I first entered the hotel the staff was very kind, and the check in process was really quick and simple. When I eventually got to my to room, the second I walked in, I noticed a scent of cigarette smoke coming from inside. I then opened the window to let some fresh air in, but due to the location of the hotel, there was a lot of commotion going on outside. Then, when I finally decided to lay down, the bed was insanely firm. Probably one of the worst beds I’ve had to sleep on before.

Sure! Here’s a polished and natural rephrasing of your review: Everything was excellent overall. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to Namba and Midosuji Station. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate are a nice touch, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. If I had to point out one minor downside, it would be the long queue for breakfast.

This location was so convenient and close to everything. The staff are very helpful and friendly! Their additional perks were a huge bonus! Buffet, vending machines, coffee, laundry machines and luggage delivery. I would definitely stay here again when back in Osaka. Thank you for the wonderful service!

A great property right outside Namba station, with Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi-Suji at a walking distance. Loved our room and the stay with wonderful breakfast and sweet staff to help all around.

Overall rating is Good! Close to Dotonbori, close to train stations & convenient store (Lawson). Hotels cleanliness was excellent! However, the bed was fairly hard it’s something to get used to. The staff were very friendly! I had a smoking room issued to me but I personally do not smoke & the staff was willing to give a non-smoking room for free! The laundry room was user friendly! I would recommend The Toyoko Inn Osaka Namba!

Breakfast is free for guests which is a big plus as not many places nearby are open until11am. The breakfast however is a bit meh. Sausages taste weird. Most of the food tastes like cafeteria food or airplane food. Then again its free cant complain too much. They have a coffee machine free for use for guests which is amazing. Surprisingly not many guests using it which is wonderful. Hotel is very clean and has all the essentials. Definitely a great budget hotel that has all the essentials. Wifi is very slow however.

Enjoyed our stay very much. It was close to Dotonbori and there was a lot of food options, breakfast was delicious and excellent. Would stay here again. The staff was very nice. The room we chose was on the smaller size, but we made it work. We also knew the room was small. They had space to store the luggage under the bed. We had two large suitcases and two carry on suitcases. They had complimentary coffee also. For breakfast they had two areas, traditional Japanese breakfast and a downstairs area with baked goods like crossaints and coffee.

Very clean, amazingly helpful staff. Who always greet with a smile, really easy check in process with an exchange machine downstairs (the exchange rate is worse in the hotel but good for convenience) really reasonable price with easy access to Dottonburi and the subway. Highly recommend
