Casa delle Zie by Wonderful Italy
Spacious and elegant apartment located on the first floor of a building without elevator, overlooking the main street of Ostuni's historic center.
The accommodation opens onto an entrance hall, which leads to a bright living room with dining table, sofa and smart TV and to the kitchen equipped with oven, dishwasher and coffee maker. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms with French beds and a third bedroom with a queen-size bed. Two ensuite bathrooms with shower and bidet, one of which windowless and with a glazed glass door, complete the layout.
Wi-Fi connection, washing machine and air conditioning in the living area and bedrooms are available to guests.
*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park, and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà, and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli, and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, the heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic of its Sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
Brindisi Airport is a 30-minute drive away, while Bari International Airport is 100 km away.
