Staff were very helpful however the TV was one of the hardest to work out. The hotel needs a bit of TLC and lack of lifts to our room was hard with so many stairs to climb. Not sure if breakfast was included so didn't go for hotel breakfast. If it was included should have been stated on arrival.

Great stay in a beautifully decorated hotel, whoever has done the design needs a pat on the back. Very quiet room, we stayed in 207 which is a bit of a trek from the main bar but I have had worse. (Peckforton Castle). If I had a slight gripe its the evening menu is poor on choice which is why I did not score the complete review as excellent. A fantastic base for anyone visiting Oswestry.

We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment, but the bar meals and the Sunday Roast were good - very generous quantities. The real ale price was fine, though they had limited choice; didn't buy any other drinks, though we shared what seemed to be a perfectly good red wine.There seemed to be a good spirits collection, including locally-produced ones. There were issues with charging to the room because we were booked through Hotels.com. We had to request this service twice before it was provided. Location and car-parking facilities were fine and the room was quiet. No lifts - so if you need help, you'll need to ask.

The bar was well stocked, with a good choice of drinks. The breakfast was very nice indeed, with an excellent choice on the menu, as well as a good variety of cereals, yogurts and cakes. The staff were excellent. From checking in, housekeeping and restaurant staff. They were all very friendly and helpful.
