Relax and unwind with the whole family at this peaceful kiwi bach on the Kāpiti Coast. A quick walk to the beach for sand and surf and so much room for everyone including the pooch. Three bedrooms, open plan living, spacious deck that catches the sun, expansive front lawn - what`s not to love about this home in sunny Ōtaki! Fun for all the family. Only 50 minutes from Wellington. Children`s playground a short walk away.

** Please note there is currently a new dwelling being built on the front of the section, however no building work will be done while guests are staying.**

** From May 2025, Mon - Fri there may be some building activity at the front of the property as a second dwelling is added to the section. This part of the property will be temporarily partitioned off and guests will still have sole access and use of the bach itself. There won`t be any building activity at the weekend. If you have any questions, please just ask. **

We enjoyed our stay at this Ōtaki Beach bach and found it to be a comfortable and practical place for a coastal getaway. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach—and check-in was seamless. Off-street parking was available and convenient, although it was a tight squeeze between the new deck and the fence.The home itself is spacious, well laid out, and feels hardwearing in a good, classic bach way. One of the main reasons we booked was that it is dog-friendly, which was a real bonus. The beds were comfortable and met expectations for a relaxed beach stay.The only area that could use improvement is the outdoor space. The yard was quite overgrown and would benefit from weeding and a mow, and the deck area could be tidied up to better match the quality of the interior.Overall, it was an enjoyable stay in a great location, and with a bit of attention to the grounds, this property would be even better.

Perfect beach get away

Great tidy spot super close to the beach. Great for dogs with the property being fully fenced - really enjoyed our stay!
