We where welcome with nice ladies at reception. I made a request for extra towels and they delivered fast at our suite. The manager was polite and nice, breakfast is realy good and hot. Ladies at resto are smiling and do a great service. Thank You.

My recent stay at the Ramada Plaza in Gatineau was, without exaggeration, the worst hotel experience I’ve had—and I travel globally every month.** The hotel is severely run-down, with unclean, outdated facilities. The pool was murky yellow and reeked like a toilet—an obvious health hazard. But the real nightmare began when the hotel rented out blocks of rooms to teenagers after prom. They partied loudly, ran through hallways, and created chaos until 7 a.m. Despite countless complaints to the front desk starting at midnight, staff kept falsely assuring us that they would address the issue. They did absolutely nothing until the situation escalated to the point where guests had to call the police. The next morning, when I tried to speak to the manager, I was met with blatant dishonesty—he told me I was the only one who had complained, even though I saw several guests doing just that throughout the night. It felt like we were completely disregarded, treated like we didn’t matter—like animals crammed into a poorly run facility. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one carrying an international brand name. I sincerely hope the hotel re-evaluates its standards, staff responsiveness, and honesty.

When we check in everthing is so frustrated they give us the room that is not our desired room then they give us another room , when we check the bed sheets it us used they just stretch the sheets as if is fresh and clean so we complain it to the front desk and show them so they moved to the other room same it is also not clean the bed sheets so we decided to stay in the room and ask a clean bed sheets and do our beds we our so devastated in this experience we have

The property is good price and location. The recent renovations are good such as no carpet, updated bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. The property is still old and I would Suggest staying on the top floor as you hear ever footstep overhead. Staff are not overly friendly or knowledgeable e.g room cleaners could not tell me if there was an ice machine
