Hotel in very good position. Easy to walk into the centre, approx 15 mins. There's also a regular bus service if you prefer. Rooms are a little tired like most old houses. Parking was a bonus. It was also very clean. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good quality produce but a bit chaotic in the dining room the 2nd day. I think everyone had decided to go to breakfast at the same time and it showed. Breakfast wasn't that warm, toast overcooked and the poached egg hard. Breakfast the first day was much better, however it wouldn't deter me from stopping again.

as good as it gets

We stayed for a couple of nights mid week, and it was easy to get to, driving in the car, good parking facility, and its position couldn't have been much better, we could walk into the city centre in less than 20 minutes! The one thing I would like to see, is a better deal on inclusion of breakfast during your stay. Chris, the restaurant and bar manager moved pretty fast, all of the time, and was very efficient.

3 night stay

A lovely hotel in an excellent location. There is ample parking at the hotel and is about a mile walk into town. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which was very useful. Our room, 52, was comfortable and nice and warm. Particularly important as the temperatures dropped quite dramatically overnight. All the staff that we came across were very pleasant and accommodating.

Stay over theatre trip

Lovely hotel, customer service was excellent friendly and warm welcome. Accommodation was cosy clean, warm and quiet. Free parking definitely a bonus in Oxford. Less than a mile walk into city centre. We had lunch and breakfast which was well presented and very tasty. Would definitely recommend
