This ocean front home is the perfect place for a family getaway! Spacious
guest area or "kids hangout" on the first floor with 2 full beds, kitchen,
private bath, pullout couch, and lots of games. Head up the stairs to the
master bedroom, and an extra bedroom both with king size beds. Each
bedroom as its own flat screen TV, as does the living room. Living area has
beautiful ocean views, nice cozy couches, and a fireplace to bundle up next
to when it gets chilly outside. Cute kitchen with everything you could possibly
need to cook up the perfect meals for your family and friends. Enjoy amazing
views of the beach while dining, sharing stories, and laughing with your loved
ones at the large dinner table located in the living area right next to the
kitchen. Don't forget to step outside onto the patio, and take some time to
relax and take it in. You're at the beach!!! Come stay at this magnificent

Pure Relaxation

We enjoyed our time relaxing with ocean views and sea breezes. The house has so many cozy blankets and spots to settle in and relax.

Chill Time

Great place to spend a long weekend with a great family group of four adults and two children. House had a homey feel to it, and comfy, but a few fixes and upgrades are dearly needed. Having stayed here for the first time , and knowing about the place a little, I would stay there again. Does have that at home feel to it for sure.

Lovely cozy home on the beach

Our family had a wonderful vacation at this cozy home. There were all of the amenities needed for a family vacation on the beach. Silver Strand is a wonderful not crowded beach with a great expansive beach. The home had lots of parking and all of the toys/furniture needed for kids to play with at the beach. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Beautiful Beachfront Getaway

This home had everything we were looking for. Beachfront access, beautiful views, and well stocked with all the amenities you need. I had trouble getting a large bottle of water open and I wondered if there would possibly be a nutcracker in the kitchen drawer. I opened it and I found two. I mean it when I say everything we needed was there. We hope to return again soon.

Beach House on Ocean Drive

Overall the location of this home was perfect for our family since we had two small children with us and the accessibility to the beach was wonderful. However, there are some items that could use improvement: The mattresses on the bottom level were very lumpy and uncomfortable. The sofa in the living area could certainly use an upgrade as it was a bit worn out and dirty. The carpet in the living room should really be replaced as it was very dirty. There could be some more hand towels available. There needs to be a dresser in the bottom level as our younger family with kids had to put all their clothes in the kitchen area as there were NO draws at all! We would love to come back next year but would appreciate any of the above improvements. We watched the sunset every evening and spent days upon days at the beach!!! Thank you.

Perfect other than downstairs beds

Perfect house on the sand with nearby bar and restaurants. Kitchen better equipped than most. Both Keurig and drip coffee machines. Only issue was the two twin beds in the downstairs bedroom were very squeaky and uncomfortable. Otherwise, a wonderful rental.

Small Family reunion

Loved our stay at this house. The home was cozy and well equipped. We had a baby and wanted baby to spend time with great grandmother she is almost 90. We also brought along babies uncles and aunty. They are in their mid 20’s. The house was great for all ages. Property manager was amazing and super accommodating. Great customer service.

We Love Silver Strand!

This beach front property has a great porch to view the beautiful Silver Strand. Dolphins gave us a great show. Most of the beds were comfy, but the furniture needs a good cleaning. This property is in need of some tender loving care and a deep clean. Grab Bars in the showers would be helpful. We felt that the rental cost was a bit over priced for the quality of the rental, compared to other properties where we have stayed on Silver Strand. The $499 to Remax that was not applied to the rental cost was not value added .All the bikes and toys were locked up, other places we have stayed offer the toys to the renters. We will probably not stay here again.

Cozy and Comfy

This was the perfect house for my family to enjoy a short getaway from the Valley heat. Spacious, clean, convenient location. The kitchen was well-equipped and the big dining table was a plus! Only downsides: beds were uncomfortable (as stated in previous reviews) and TV/cable was difficult to operate (we never got it working but gave us a reason to shut off screentime and enjoy the downtime). Most likely will stay again but not until we find out that the beds are replaced :)

everything was clean and looked just like the pictures beautifull,grandchildren loved being right on the beach,house came with everything we needed for the week,only negative was the beds were very uncomfortable,owner could invest in some better mattress, but over all it was awesome and can't wait to come back

Excellent Location

We were very pleased with the property itself, the house very comfortable. The view of the ocean was tremendous from the main level and the deck was a great place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. The beach was wide and wonderful and we very much enjoyed playing games with kids and grandkids there. The only real negative to this home were the beds. They were all slept on and were not comfortable at all. For the money spent, we recommend that they all be replaced with comfortable mattresses. And others have addressed this, but having the bikes in the garage unlocked and available would have been a nice treat...but we do understand it if that was owner's preference. All in all though, it was a nice stay and I would highly recommend, other than the beds.

Deferred maintenance and poor condition

This home sits right on the beach and the beach is pristine. Oxnard itself lacks amenities such as fine dining and shopping, you'll need to drive to neighboring towns for that. We brought our own food to prepare but the kitchen is poorly stocked with misc old odds and ends. There's enough to make do. There is an old small charcoal grill. There is not a gas grill. There is no AC though most of the time I'd imagine this is not an issue being right on the beach. The furniture is torn and the bedding is stained. Pillows are old and lumpy, we went out and bought more for our stay. The house also has a bad smell. This was honestly one of the worse properties I've rented but in one of the most beautiful spots. I made my decision based in part on past reviews so I wanted to leave an honest description. I would not stay here again.
