We loved this property! Such a peaceful place, yet easy drive to surrounding areas. Property is lovely with lots of on site fruit trees and gardens. When we notified the owners that we would be leaving really early in the morning, they made freshly baked custard pies for us! So good the next morning.

Everything was excellent ! Rooms were spacious and clean, hosts friendly and helpful, property was scenic with agriculture, room had a view of the salt ponds. Very convenient to salt ponds museum. Breakfast was so plentiful and delicious even fresh orange juice from the orchard , warm pastries, fresh bread and cheese and tomatoes, homemade marmalade and a delicious giant cannolo.Lovely stay!! And sweet sweet dog Fiona !!

This was the last stop in our 21 day trip to Italy/sicily. We were feeling the fatigue of a long trip. Then we arrived at Casolare nelle Saline. We were warmly greeted by our hosts and shown to our room. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a sense of open air. We took a short walk around and found ruins from windmills used in the salt production. We took a brief drive around discovering a rich history in Trapani. The topper was the incredible breakfast served us the next morning. This place was awesome!

People come here to see the salt farms and, especially, the migrating birds and natural beauty. There is little else and only a single decent restaurant. But the staff at this hotel go out of their way to connect personally and provide all the guidance you need to enjoy the area. Their breakfasts are the best!

Great location near the salt works

A wonderful place to stay close to the salt works and the Salt Museum near Trapani! Great service and wonderful room with balconies. The breakfast alone is worth a stay here…fresh fruits, homemade marmalades and a huge cannoli!

Wonderful hospitality

Our whole experience at this B&B was first-class. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the family who made us feel very welcome and took the time to take us through the information needed to help us make the most of our stay. The house is in a delightful spot, surrounded by trees, fields and an orchard, and right alongside the salines that define this area. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and well-maintained. The whole atmosphere is quiet, peaceful and close to nature. When we stayed in September we could see and hear flamingos from our windows on the first floor! The breakfast deserves special mention: paninis with cheese and tomato, ricotta with jam or marmalade, fresh bread, fruit from the orchard all freshly home-made and really delicious. The hosts are expert cooks and the absolute highlight was the home made Sicilian-style cakes and pastries, different each day. We were truly touched by the effort they made and the pride they took in providing the best possible hospitality. Erice, Trapani and Marsala are all close by and well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Si vous visitez les Salines, alors il faut s'arrêter ici ! L'hôte est accueillant et l'endroit est hyper calme, et pittoresque. Tout est fait maison au petit déjeuner, composé de spécialités siciliennes. Tout était excellent !

Ihana erikoinen yksityismajoitus suola-altaiden, ollivi- ja sitruspuiden äärellä. Oma ovi pihalle, auton sai lähelle. Aamiainen oli mieletön, kuten moni olikin kommentoinut, ja sen sai syödä sitruspuiden katveessa. Kannattaa kyllä etukäteen kertoa, jos on allergioita. Isäntämme Michele oli ihanan rauhallinen ja ystävällinen, puhui kärsivällisesti kanssamme italiaa eikä vaihtanut lainkaan englantiin. Kyseli ystävällisesti matkasuunnitelmistamme yms. Michelen kanssa viestittelimme etukäteen WhatsAppilla, ja hän antoi meille kaksi mahdollista saapumisaikaa: joko kuudelta tai kahdeksalta, mikä hieman rajoitti tekemistämme. Pienenä miinuksena myös ehkä syrjäinen sijainti ilman palveluita. Kilometrin päässä kuulemma olisi ollut joku ravintola, mutta itse ajoimme Trapaniin syömään.

Belle découverte

Un grand merci à nos hôtes, très attentionnés et d’une grande gentillesse. une immersion sicilienne au petit déjeuner, formidable, délicieux, tout fait maison. Chambre très propre, simple, literie confortable. Nous recommandons cette adresse, assez bien placée pour rayonner vers trapani, les îles egades, marsala. Merci aussi pour les conseils parking pour aller aux îles egades.

Super service og fantastisk morgenmad.

God service og venlig betjening, fantastisk morgenmad, som serveres ved bordet! Der gives endda mulighed for at pakke den del af morgenmaden, som man kan ikke kan spise til senere på dagen. Ingen kan spise den mængde mad, som vi fik serveret 😊. Spændende sted og autentisk oplevelse. God beliggenhed i forhold til lufthavnen i Trapani. Vi kommer gerne igen.
