Great house, excellent location next to the super market and the beach. The host Vatea was very helpful. Clear communication and access instructions, labels and reminders posted around the house set clear expectations. The house is well equipped, we enjoyed the lounge chairs, kayak, barbecue. We would come back!

Great place in Tahiti

This house was perfect in every way for us. We came to Tahiti to celebrate our 55th anniversary. When we arrived we found the house very clean and everything was organized well. There was even coffee and sugar and many condiments. The view from the porch was fantastic. Right on the beach with great breeze. We are planning to return here again.

Tout était parfait. Le Fare est fonctionnel, bien décoré, bien équipé, jardins magnifiques et parfaitement entretenus : très agréable à vivre. La salle d'eau supplémentaire extérieure est un vrai plus ! La construction traditionnelle du Fare et le fait d'être directement face au lagon a fait qu'il n'y faisait pas trop chaud. Nous n'avons quasiment pas eu de moustiques de tout le mois d'août. L'emplacement était aussi idéal, face au lagon, avec vue sur Moorea, ombragé, plage privée, proche des plus belles plages et Marae, avec petit supermarché et roulotte de qualité à proximité immédiate. Le seul point d'attention est la passe du gouverneur juste en face. Il faut être extrêmement prudent et bien se renseigner sur les courants qui sont permanents et peuvent être puissants dès que la houle dépasse 1m de hauteur. Prévoir des chaussures d'eau. Nous allions souvent à pied en longeant le bord de mer jusqu'à la plage de la résidence "White Plage" afin de nous mettre à l'eau pour faire du snorkeling en se laissant tranquillement dériver jusqu'au fare MikiMiki : raies, tortues, pointes noires, murènes, bénitiers, poissons par milliers... Nous avons aussi régulièrement observé les baleines depuis le fare, juste en face de l'autre côté de la barrière de corail qui est à 500m. Il faut prévoir une petite paire jumelles.
