This was such a fantastic off-grid getaway. If you enjoy the sound of crashing waves against the rocky cliffs 24/7, living in the jungle with fresh fruit trees and coconut trees, and hearing the sound of evening rain showers from the topical climate, then this is the place for you. My fiancé and I booked this 9 months in advance to go visit the Volcanoes National park (which is less than 45min away) and got to see Kilauea erupting!Also, booking well in advance will save you money as most hotels in the local area cost more than this vacation rental.

Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin.

Truly the most amazing place I have ever had the opportunity to stay. The privacy was lovely. We enjoyed having a pool to ourselves and the whole property is so beautiful! Even the drive through the forest to get there- it felt nice and secluded with nature everywhere. Easy drive to beaches and VNP! This was our first time visiting the big island and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else! Would love to come back and stay here again someday.
