Nice hotel poor for a Mercure hotel

The hotel overall was clean and the staff especially Alex were very helpful. However if a coach party was in you couldn't eat in the restaurant as they didn't have the capacity in the kitchen. On more then one occasion at breakfast they had ran out of cups so no tea or coffee. Also it was rare there was a laid table you were left to find a table and then the cutlery etc. In the everyone night then bar ran out of wine glasses. The housekeeping was hit and miss I think we had a bottom sheet that was to small as under the pillow was just the matrress cover this was left all our stay. Also when we first arrived we had bottled water this was never replaced and I had to go to reception to get some. I have stayed in other Mercure hotels so overall was disappointed as usually they are much better.

Overall good, but a bit of confusion at breakfast surrounding food allergies and what was good or not. Room was nice and quiet (rear facing) so slept well. Parking 1st come first served £15/night

Poor housekeeping

Just back from 8 nights and the 1st 2 days the rooms were not serviced and when I approached the cleaner in the corridor at 5:30 pm he just kept saying that he had been really busy . I said that wasn’t my issue and that I was going to reception to complain and he told me to go to reception……. Thankfully I spoke with the deputy manager and the situation was quickly resolved

The fairground opposite the hotel, blocking the promised sea view when booking. The noise levels even on the beach were extremely loud and no better in the hotel room. One night until 10pm. This was not mentioned when we booked this hotel, which is regretable because the hotel itself is of the higest standard and cannot be critised.
