Modern apartment in the lively Kalsa district of Palermo, behind the Foro Italico and a short distance from the main places of interest.



The apartment, located on the first floor of a historic building, opens onto an open space furnished with a double sofa bed, a coffee table, a cabinet with a TV, a dining table and a fully-equipped kitchen with an oven, a kettle and an espresso coffee machine. The sleeping area includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a large closet with a mirror, a dresser and a TV. It also has access to a balcony overlooking the street. A large fully-renovated bathroom with shower completes the layout.



Amenities such as Wi-fi connection, washing machine, air conditioning in the living room and independent heating will be at guests’ disposal.

The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parking and enjoying the old town on foot.

A nice surprise

The outside scared me some.wondered what i got myself into. Butl I walked into a very updated clean apartment. Commination with owner was very good.. they forgot to put eating & cooking utensils.

Nice island of cleanliness and modernity in an ocean of poverty

La Kalsa is a traditional, low standard neighborhood, with all the authenticity and the desagrements. The other inhabitants of the building were regularly loud, in the night sometimes very loud. The homeless refugees who live on the Piazza della Kalsa try to earn some money by "helping" the tourists with parking their cars, sometimes in aggressiv way. About the flat: the coffee machine did not work. Despite of reclamation no reparation. A garbage can in the bathroom would be usefull, so as a kitchenknife and a broom.
