This is a charmingly styled apartment. The bathroom has been recently renovated, the bed is comfortable, and the terrace adds a lot to the overall experience. The neighborhood isn't very lively, but it is quiet and safe. However, as is often the case, the beautiful photos set high expectations that are rarely met in reality. That was my experience with this place. For example, the balcony is not part of the living or sleeping room, but you have to cross an entrance hall to reach it. It's not a big deal, but I used it less because of that. The kitchen table is hard to sit at for an extended period; a shelf between the table’s legs makes it impossible to keep your feet on the floor. The doors between the living room and the entrance hall were rattling in the wind (in February), and I had to put a chair against them to muffle the noise. Overall, the place has its charm and character, is spacious, and the terrace is a genuine highlight. That said, you may want to temper your expectations a little — in my case, the price and 'exceptional' rating promised more than the place delivered.
