A mile down the street (Monterey Avenue) is a beautiful super market that also serves food. Then another 2 or 3 miles to downtown Palm Desert with all of its chic shops, restaurants and even dancing at some of the bars and clubs. From Palm Desert, take a 20 -25 minute drive down the famous Highway 111 to Palm Springs. Then another 25 miles to a casino right next door to the outlet mall.
