Several degraded items, phones hanging from a screw, fire extinguisher box ripped off the wall, the AC seemed to be broken by the bar area, and the door on the northwest side of the building is not functioning properly. The free drinks should be drinks of your choice not just some random beer and punch. But it was free so it was better than nothing! Overall I’d say it was a 4 out of 5. Great breakfast! Great service, just hard to keep up the facility that size I’m sure. Just my $.02 Thank y’all!

Very nice resort. Great pool area and right across the street from the beach. Also near many shops and dining options. Great staff. One complaint is that there was a constant odor of marijuana in the halls elevator near our room.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. The lobby, bar and breakfast area were extremely warm the entire week. The breakfast was great if you could get past the omelet guy being a jerk. Cocktail hour was decent if you could get past being warm while drinking your drink and eating your snack mix. The pool was beautiful, 3ft deep at the deepest point, very murky water, and sooo many kids we never found a lounger or space to chill in the pool. We are pool lovers but didnt spend any time at this pool. Location was great and right next to pier park and across the street from the beach..no cross walk just had to jot across. Laundry situation was the worse thing about the hotel..2 washer and 2 dryers neither worked well and after a horrid 3 hour experience , calling the front desk twice with no help offered i left with wet sour smelling clothes from the machines not working properly and it charged my card 6 times for the experience..seriously ridiculous! I give this hotel an overall meh rating..

Perfect location, access to the beach, shopping and dining. Rooms were clean and up to date. Only complaint was that apparently a barrier was installed in the back parking lot that Uber and Lyft drivers were not aware of, so I had a number of drivers unable to reach us.

It was an average to below average experience. It was hit or miss with staff, some helpful and others didn’t want to be bothered. Overall cleanliness of the hotel was average to below average. A lot of out of control guests as well, but that’s not the hotel fault. Pool is nice and well maintained, quick walk to the beach and shopping. Traffic around the hotel is a nightmare.

Our second time here and we love to location. It’s near the Pier Park shopping area that’s walkable from the Hotel and the beach is across the street. Self parking and Valet are available and checking in and out was a breeze. We didn’t really have to go anywhere.

I liked the room, it was clean and close to the beach. HOWEVER. Room service only makes one bed, they won’t do the bunk beds or pull-out couch… I paid $15 for 3 sodas which were completely uncarbonated and flat last night and was told “that’s what came out” with a shoulder shrug. At check in, the fire alarm in our room went off for 25 minutes before someone came to look at it, and another 20 minutes before someone came to remove it. Then we had to wait another 40 minutes before they brought it back so we could finally sleep after driving for 11 hours. It’s a nice hotel, we just had a poor experience

Place was nice, but the bartenders were obviously under the influence of opioids...they shut the outside bar down way before sunset... absolutely not making the kind of money they could make there...would go back, but would expect to see major changes at poolside ..the breakfast was excellent and the room was cozy, but during the summer there should be live entertainment everyday at the pool between 530-8pm...allot of people would never leave for dinner, they would have it there by the pool

I've traveled quite a bit and never stayed at a hotel that had so many dogs. I thought that it was a dog show in town. All sizes...no weight requirements. Big dogs barking by the pool at night making it hard to sleep. Dogs eating off owners plate. As a first time occupant of this hotel it will actually be my last as well.
