Completely Remodeled and Beautifully Furnished Condo, located within a short walk to the beach. Lake town Wharf offers THE Resort style vacation, from the five unique pools, 52,000 square feet of lakefront boardwalk, a fully equipped fitness center, covered parking, miniature golf, an on-site market/bistro, on-site dining options and flexible meeting spaces for conferences, to weddings and other group functions. There is really no reason to leave, other than the beach experience you can find across the street.
Phenomenal setting offering panoramic elevators, you cannot find anywhere else, heated pools, kiddie pools. Vegas style fountain show every night, you can enjoy from the privacy of your own balcony!
The unit has been decorated extremely tastefully and no expense has been spared for the comfort of our guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. Themaster bedroom has an extremely comfortable King Bed and en suite Bathroom. The bunk area is secluded and has brand new mattresses and a private bathroom. The living area is extremely spacious and open, it offers a sleeper sofa couch and brand new furniture for he ultimate luxury feel. The condo is 1050 sq.ft and it is located in the best floor- 10th. RIght across the 10th level you will find one of the best pools in the complex, hidden away and extremely close, so no elevators needed to access it.

Not what I expect

Upon check in we were only given 6 of our 7 wristbands lobby told us there was nothing they could do. A lot of visible black Mold in between shower curtains Toilet would not stop running and visible mold in bowlNo pillow cases for any of the extra pillows for the 2 couch beds and only linen for 1 of them Limited working elevators waited 30 mins to get up or down and I have a bad knee and older people in my group stairs were not an option1 chair on balcony missing foot and screw making chair very unsafe NO VIEW OF GULF from anywhere in our room or out either door! Amenities at property and staff were nice

Amazing vacation

The property was awesome, the views were amazing. There’s so much entertainment on the property itself and even more in the surrounding areas. Everything one need is in walking distance. The water light show was amazingly beautiful. Overall my family and I enjoyed everything about our stay.

Understand that this is a rental, so I’ll be kind in this review. Room is not decorated like the pictures presented. Furniture can be compared to a Motel 6 so props to the photographer that sold us on this unit. Won’t go into the details on cleanliness on this post but we expected better and took care of it ourselves. The accommodations were not to the point where we’d rather not stay at all, however, to bring your family across country for a relaxing week and find out you’re not getting what you saw in advertisements is rather disappointing. Fortunately we spent most of our time outside enjoying PCB and the amenities at Laketown Wharf.

July 4th weekend

Follow directions for check in prior to your arrival. It caused me to stand in line an hour to check in because the line of people in front of me didn’t follow directions. Poor experience. Plan on waiting for elevators. Average wait time was 15-20 minutes to get an elevator. They were always full. My kids got stuck in one for roughly 5-10 mins. Poor experience. Room was ok. Had to go buy an air mattress because the sleeper sofa was not operable. Kids refused to sleep on bunks because they found bugs under the mattress. Not bed bugs… but dead bugs. There was some issues, towel bars falling off wall, chair outside broke, had issue with TV, limited kitchen utensils… so plan accordingly. Area is good… close to beach, Walmart, etc. the traffic getting into and out of the resort is not great. So again plan accordingly. Practice patience and you’ll be fine.

Panama City Beach

Overall we enjoyed the location and property. Check in and elevator wait time is a bit long but property owner did give good suggestion to use pool elevator. Close proximity to beach, restaurant and stores. Property is older, could use some improvements but overall was nice. The large gap that allows sunlight in through the front door, the sand found in the bunk beds and the broken towel bar in the master bathroom were the things that bothered us the most but the price point was good so it’s a give and take, right?

Somewhat okay.

The trip wasn’t the best as I expected. The first night there some lady who was drunk tried to break in our unit waking and scaring the kids I had with me. I called the office and they told me there’s nothing they could have done. Then the last day, Thursday. I didn’t know they water was going to be out in the whole area. When I called front desk they had an attitude saying well if you look at the notification posted it stated it was. I looked and did not see not one notification.

Has potential-but needs to be updated

This condo has potential. It is in a good location, check-in is easy, and there is security on the premises. However, the cleanliness outweighed the good-I was told it was due to new cleaners. The towel rack in the bathroom falling off the wall, linens were in the dryer but still wet/the beds weren't made/vapes were left in the room from the previous renters, the couch is flat-not sure if its usable and all of the pillows were dirty with unknown stains. Speaking with the owner was fine until I asked to be reimbursed for the cleaning because the unit was not cleaned by the time we checked in which was only 10 mins before 430.

Great location!

Condo was a little outdated but enough space for a married couple, two teenage girls in the bunk area with their own bathroom, and a young child to sleep with us in the king master. This particular unit had great access to the pools, parking garage, and beach. We could even walk to Walmart for supplies. We only got in our car once! Would definitely consider this location again! Restaurants and coffee shop on the property were a plus!

Unit Needs Repairs

The location was great(10th floor) bc the convenience of there being a pool on our floor! The elevators are slow but to be expected due to the high volume of people but advise of the owner to use the parking deck elevators was the key to a shorter wait! The unit itself has great potential but it definitely needs some things fixed and the pictures need to be updated bc it isn’t decorated the same- the couch was just useless for sitting or using as a bed; it was broken and when you sat on it the back legs raised off the floor…the towel rack in the master fell off the wall when a towel was hung, it was just rigged up. The overall cleanliness was OK but for the fee you are charged I would have definitely expected better! Oh and plan to take what you need to cook bc the pans stick and just not ideal. I did reach out to the owner who was nice, very responsive and apologetic so hopefully these issues get resolved for the next family!

Ha the potential to be nice but needs a number of fixes. (Half the lights in the kitchen didn’t work, living room and master bedroom lights didn’t work, wall art looks like a kid hung it, electric plug covers missing, area rug/ placemats/ table plant in pictures are not actually in the room, couch has no support at all to sit on without a pillow or something under you) So as I said this place could be nice if someone would spend a little time to take care of it.

Nice place!

Overall clean, beds are memory foam and very comfy. Ice maker and bedroom light didn't work during our stay, but we managed. Pools closed during thunderstorm warnings and elevators were a long wait. Light show from balcony was nice(800~810).

Spring break

Unfortunately there were molded towels in the room. They were clean but stained with what appeared to be mold. The chairs at the table were broken. They were intact but you couldn’t sit in them or they’d break. The elevators were SLOW so we did a lot of stair climbing. But that is not the fault of the owner. Overall the price was reasonable and with some additional updates it would be better.
