Don't be afraid of the negative reviews. The property itself was in great shape for its age and has everything you need. The food, drinks, and service were all good as well. They have a buffet for beakfast in the morning, a buffet and a place with burgers with fries and nachos for lunch, and 3 sit down restaurants for dinner. Also another buffet for dinner as well. They also have 24 hour room service we used a few times as well. The only thing i could say negative about the food is that there was not a huge variety of options at the buffets. They have everything you need though. Always 4 choices of meat, carbs, and vegetables. Our son also enjoyed the fresh fruits and desert bar. The staff were mostly bilingual or broken English. The water is not the Caribbean, so dont expect it to be clear. But we were still able to get in and swim. We even saw a sloth on the property one day! I'd give it closer to a 3.5 star then a 4, but would still recommend. Only a 20 minute or so Uber into the city costing around $10 per way.
