It was a very disappointing stay at this VRBO, we arrived around 9pm, a nice woman named Ingrid met us and let us in. We had just come from San Blas Islands where we had to take cold/ saltwater showers, had an incredibly terrible [traumatic] car ride from the islands and were REALLY looking forward to hot showers. NO HOT WATER! Host knew the gas was out in the building, therefore no hot water, cooking or dryer, but did not tell us this. I felt this was very deceitful behavior and let him know it. The kitchen also had a serious ant problem. As it was so late by the time we arrived and we were exhausted we chose to stay [not a hotel around every corner in panama city like here in USA] figured finding another place would be too difficult. I do feel that some of the cost of the accommodations should be returned since he was not upfront about the issues with the gas being out. If it had been communicated ahead of time we definitely would not have stayed there. Our experience in Panama all over the country is: buyer beware!! misrepresentation is rampant
