When we first arrived, the lights went out in the hotel while waiting in line for us to check in. This caused the systems to be down as well as elevators. Staff did attempt make accommodations for the inconvenience by giving free champagne and an upgraded room. Once we were finally checked in we were met with another inconvenience. A pretty scary one. When we used our key to get in the room, we walked into a room that was already being used!! Luckily, whoever was staying in there wasn't in there at the time. Thank goodness, because that would of been awkward or even traumatic to the eyes if we would have walked in on something else. Anyway, we had to go back to check-in and do a redo. Although the room was big with a city/ ocean view. It smelled mildewy and like excessive bleach at the same time. There was also only one towel in the room. No wash cloth or face towels, you had to order them to your room. The shower was also clogged so the water rose above your feet even with shower shoes. Overall, its an older hotel that they slapped paint on that's slowly chipping away and falling apart. Honestly, you get what you pay for.

The hotel is located in an area that has seen better days. The mall next door is mostly empty. The hotel has floors that are accessible but empty. The pool was good. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were very good.

Very friendly Check in process fast and polite the only downside I was asked to have my credit card on hold But noticed right away it was xtra $100 charged, after I paid for my room.. I called the hotel they said it would drop in 24 hours. But still shows it was charged since the 19th. Hotel review wonderful Room most comfortably bed, we were in the higher floor Suite City view, the Hotel has several options of dinings, lounge and live music, walking distance to the casino and mall which was closed but was ok you can have other places to visit, loved the pool next time I'll.stay more days and book directly seem to be cheaper , we definitely will be back :) highly recommend minus thr charged on hold still pending in my.account.

I checked in to celebrate my mom’s birthday (she’s Panamanian and actually lives there). They completely ignored my do not disturb sign and entered the room on both days. I left it alone the first time. The second time she left her cleaning solution in the bathroom and removed the artificial roses I spread out on the table and tv stand that was apart of my mom’s birthday decor I designed for her and bowls she brought from her home that were in the sink. Keep in mind that the same balloons and rose petals were there the day before when the housekeeper entered. At this moment I was upset because my mom’s birthday celebration was important to me and they were ignoring my request to not disturb/enter the room because I did not want them touching anything. I complained to the front desk staff who was a male employee and he did not take me serious mainly because I was not speaking in Spanish and he understood and spoke English very well. My mom began to speak to him in Spanish and explained that the housekeeper should not have entered and it was wrong. He then tried to make excuses as he was laughing and texting the housekeeper. I don’t pay my money to be disrespected in a hotel especially when I’m with my mom! This man said that they could remove anything from the table and did not seem to care! I returned to my room and the artificial rose petals were back in the room! Needless to say, she entered the room while I was downstairs again! Roses were probably from the trash!

Busy season with family-

Not for a busy season, the service was not great. Staff wasn’t sure where the breakfast was and the floor details had to be figured out. Breakfast had long lines and food ran out with people entering still.

The check-in line was two hours long. Two hours later when we left our room, the line was still out the door.The the room had a distinct unpleasant odor. When we open the windows, everything got wet in 10 minutes. They were completely unprepared and inadequate for breakfast. It was the worst breakfast we had on our entire seven day trip. Was our worst experience on this trip and the most expensive room we paid for.
