A lot of construction was happening when we stayed. There was no signage on how to access the hotel from any street. The main entrance off the main road was a non marked gravel road. Very frustrating. The staff wasn’t rude, just indifferent. The bed cover on my bed in my room had what looked like blood on it…and it wasn’t mine. I took that cover off immediately. The work out facility was not stocked with towels or cups and appeared it had not been cleaned in a bit. It was not the worse hotel I have stayed in by far, but I will not be returning either.

Very nice hotel. Only bad thing our room was facing the very busy hwy 98 which made for a noisy stay. There are only 3 rooms on each floor facing the highway. I guess i was just unlucky or the clerk got her dig in.

The area of the hotel was convenient and not far at all from the beach. Would not recommend walking though esp due to construction. Breakfast wasn’t the best but did have options.

Loved this place, the room was so nice and clean. The kitchen was an awesome feature and the bathroom was very nice. The only downside is that there seemed to be limited staff at the front desk. The phone would ring for awhile before someone would pick up. Other than that, it was a very nice stay and I would definitely book again!

Family outing!

The hotel is new and located in close proximity to restaurants and shopping and it only about a 10 minute drive from the beach. Customer service was great! There’s lots of road construction going on in the area and traffic can get a little congested but overall not a bad stay!

The photos gave the appearance that it was on the water when in fact the water is simply attractions nearby. I arrived at the property less than one hour after booking the property. I realize my mistake. I asked to cancel the reservation and they told me that I had to go through Expedia. Expedia called the property to get authorization to cancel the reservation. The property manager, refused to give them authorization to cancel my reservation so I could book at another Marriott property on the beach. As a result, I have spent my last dollar with Marriott despite having spent over $10,000 at Marriott properties in the past 12 months. If you want to be near Pier Park and all the shopping then this is a great property. Just know that there is a lot of road construction around the property so it’s not exactly convenient at the moment.

The room was smaller than expected but it was clean. Couldn't walk around the bed after the sofa bed was out. It was difficult to get fresh towels, housekeeping came every 2 days. Breakfast was not good all 4 days i was there. The location was great. Right next to pier park & pirate voyage.
