Excellent walkable location for the ferry terminal, cruise ship port and Papeete Market. The hotel is nice and the staff is extremely helpful. However, as others have mentioned, noise can be an issue. I checked and double checked to be sure we were getting a quiet room, and indeed we did not hear any of the nearby club noise BUT we were on the 6th floor and the restaurant is on the 7th so we heard a lot of the noise for several hours from chairs being scooted on the floor. I would recommend a room far from the bar noise but not on the the 6th floor below the restaurant. And for us Americans the tub with a handheld shower nozzle was ridiculous. If I stay again I will definitely be sure that the room has a shower rather than just the open bath tub.

We chose this property as it was walking distance with our luggage from the cruise port. The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and spacious and all we needed for our 3 night stay. There is a great cafe on the ground floor that serves breakfast and lunch. The rooftop bar is very nice and has a happy hour. We didn't eat in the other restaurant at the property. A little noisy during the Friday night but that was just people having fun. We would stay again.

We always stay at Kon Tiki in our cruise travels - it is a block away from port, and if we stay before/after cruising we can be across from Moorea ferry... the staff/everyone is so nice, and when we need to wait, their waiting area has water/coffee, they now have a nice lunch/snack restaurant... perfect!

The hotel is directly across the street from the feeey terminal and on a busy street. The hotel works to mask the sounds with two doors to the balcony. The bed is very comfortable and great accommodation. The meals were great

Conveniently located within walking distance of the cruise port and ferry services to the other islands. However, even though the room was ready, they did not allow us to utilize our rooms earlier than stated check-in times. They also relocated our stored suitcases without permission, including placing some of them in the wrong rooms. Very concerning, even though it eventually was corrected.

Noisy location with continuous traffic noise from the street. No bottled water in room. No hand towels or face washers. The room was basic, the beds comfortable enough. Air conditioner was hard to set to a comfortable temperature. We arrived very late and left the next morning. With a little thought and care this place could be really nice but it hasn’t been shown much love for a while.

Perfect for a one-day stop before Bora Bora. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a fantastic rooftop bar offering beautiful views and a great spot to unwind. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! when my tour guide was delayed, they arranged a taxi, recommended a nearby beach so we wouldn’t lose time, and even booked our return taxi. Breakfast had plenty of options, and the eggs were especially delicious. The location is also convenient, close to bars and right next to a passage with shops to explore.

I'm very disappointed for our stay of 1 night Sept.5th, 2025. There is a disco bar right by the hotel and they were playing very loud music until 3:45 a.m. We just couldn't sleep comfortably and called the receptionist few times to complain about the issue. They finally called police to calm things down. If you want to have peaceful night, this isn't the hotel you should pick at all! Sorry for being honest about my experience!

Extremely noisy

Hotel was very clean and nice but EXTREMELY NOISY. We stayed overnight to catch a 7am flight and all you heard all night was the loud music from the rooftop bar. Also we were on the 6th floor just below the restaurant and all you heard was tables and chairs getting pushed around at 1am. This hotel is great otherwise as long as you don’t mind the noise.

Very noisy. They have a very busy night club with a very loud music- impossible to sleep. The elevator is like a long lift line at the ski resort. I stayed there because of the location.
