Great Downtown Hotel

The Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was great - easy check-in and check-out. Coffee shop next door has breakfast and lunch. We did not go to the rooftop bar. Would highly recommend it for a stay in Tahiti without breaking the bank!

We arrived at 8:30 having reserved a premium room with an ocean view. We were told the room would not be ready until after 3pm. Unfortunately, we were in Tahiti on a Sunday and the whole Island is closed. We saw many people getting their rooms as early as 1:30. We were the last to get our room at 3:30. They kept promising us a room shortly but really did not deliver giving lower quality room away before us. There were man problems with that room. The bed was as hard as a board. There was no shower but a free standing bathtub that rocked when you stepped in it. The tub was slippery and dangerous. It was not secured to the floor. The blow dryer did not work. We were missing many towels requesting more and they were never delivered. There was noise from the rooftop bar above. We wrote a complaint to the general manager and requested money back for our troubles. We never heard from him. They don’t care about your issues. Don’t stay here.

Affordable luxury

Comfortable stay after 45 days in French Polynesia. We appreciated the modern, spacious, bug free, air conditioned room. Special bonus was the restaurant on floor 7 was an unexpected gem! The food was incredible and it had great ambience. Only minor annoyance was one elevator which took a while at peak times. Wish we stayed more than one night.

Lovely staff with the check-in process. NEED to have MORE in-house restaurant hours for those who do not (or cannot) want to walk/taxi/uber . We often like to check-in; and NOT get a taxi, etc.to have meals.

Creative downtown hotel for those looking to be located in town rather than a resort. Check in was very chaotic due to stampede of folks off a cruise ship in the early morning and were told no rooms were available before 3pm so their cafe was like grand central all day. We went to get our room at 3pm and were told we would be called by a staff member when it was ready. We were never called but on returning to the desk we got our room a little before 4pm. We are also shocked to be charged $100 to store bags fo four days until our return in 4 days. That was a hotel first! Bathroom light did not work and was never fixed during our two day stay. On the positive great roof top bar, no problems with noise very good but expensive cafe. Great.contemporary design. Most staff charming and attentive despite being overwhelmed, very comfortable bed and great kitchenette in our room. Area immediately around is seedy not necessarily dangerous. All said we would and are going back

SMALL elevator

We booked this hotel as it was close to the port, and we were extending our cruise for one night. When they say 'rooms available after 3', that's exactly what they mean. We arrived about 1:30, and was told repeatedly, "it'll just be about 15 minutes" .... each time I asked! We got to our room about 3:15. The ONE and only elevator serves all 8 floors (top two are the dining room and then the rooftop bar). It holds 6 people, not counting luggage (sign says 8 but no way!). Be mindful of peak times for the rooftop bar and early diners when using elevator. Guest services was cordial, but getting information out of them was simply the answer to the exact question, nothing further. We had asked for a quiet room, and I'm SO glad. Since it is waterfront, and on the main road, traffic was alive and well on a Saturday night. The cafe next door had excellent food and they were very helpful (had lunch while waiting for our room), and there was a lounge area on the 1st floor (lobby is on Floor 0), which we ended up using to bring our pizza from next door (other side) back to enjoy (rather than tolerate the heat and smokers at the pizza place). Rooms were 'quirky' and it took awhile to figure out the lighting and switches. But we got a good night's sleep and the requested taxi arrived on time, so made our flight in plenty of time.

Modern little gem downtown. Rooftop bar is the spot to be for sunset cocktails. Easy walking to ferry, market, and restaurants. Coffee shop has nice breakfast and lunch options. They will store your luggage and call cabs for you. So much better than the Tahiti Airport Hotel, where we also stayed a night. Highly recommend if you have some time in Papeete and are doing the resort thing elsewhere.

Really spacious, modern clean room with kitchenette and ideal for picking up cruise ships - 5 mins walk. Double double glazing blocked out most of traffic noise and noise from adjacent nightclub. Only woken by a police siren.

Incredibly convenient for cruises and ferries

Incredible location if you’re taking a cruise or a ferry to Moorea. Literally across the street. The room was nice. The bed was excellent. The bathroom OK.
