Firstly after getting a confirmation and payment due at check in, I get a call the previous day to say pay 50%. After telling them that payment due at resort then they say pay 30/40% all on WhatsApp messages or else there won’t be a room available. Thinking it was a scam I didn’t make any payment in advance. Tried reaching the hotel through the booking confirmation wasn’t able to get through as no one picked up. Sent messages and recd no answer. Next day on reaching the property I was told I had no room. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a strange place and when it was dark. Never encountered anything like this before especially through Expedia. Had to hunt for another hotel in the city post that. Will not use this platform again.
