Basic simple accommodation right opposite the Gare Du Nord: Great for rail & Metro links. It's a lively area so there's noise outside into the small hours but a window shutter does shut most of it out. The room was clean and, if little compact, and a simple but adequate breakfast was included in the price. Great base for exploring Paris and for quick links to Eurostar and trains to Charles de Gaulle Airport

Staff was friendly. The location near the Station was great. Surprisingly, it was quiet considering it's next to the Station. I think the double pane windows helped. It would have been nice to have blackout curtains too. The air conditioner worked well. Perfect place for a single person or 2 people staying one or two nights, otherwise, a little small.

It serves its purpose as a place to sleep and shower - don’t expect too much in the way of amenities. AC was a welcome feature as it would be very hot in the summer. Many convenient transit options to get to and from the hotel as it’s directly across from a main transit hub of the city. Lots of food options, bakeries and such within a short walk which made it easy to have a late dinner before returning to the hotel for the night.

Thin walls, every breathe another guest makes you can hear. Some sort of alarm went off at 5 in the morning. Housekeepers were hoovering at midnight and again at 2am. Massively overpriced purely for the convenience of being close to the station.

We were greeted buy a nice man at the desk that took our booking and gave us our room key and that is as far as the customer service went. Didn't tell us how to get to our room, didn't tell us every time we leave the hotel we have to give our room key back, this led to a women on reception shouting at us when we tried to leave with the key. The rooms were a ok size kinda what we expected. The room looks clean when you enter but the bathroom smelt of pee and the door was covered in mold and rot and that made the room smell quite unpleasant we also think somebody had smoked on the room before us or was a smoker because the room smelt very bad of tobacco and we are both non smokers so this was quite unpleasant for us both. Overall for the price and the convenience of how close to the train station is to the hotel was acceptable.

Incredible deal

An older hotel, but I actually really like the atmosphere and the feeling of the art Deco of possibly the 20s when it was built.And it's small but cozy quaint and perfectly accommodating a highly recommended.And it's such a good deal for the money and the location is directly across the street from the train station literally like twenty steps across the street.

Do not stay here. Area is very unsafe. The hotel is completely worn out. Elevator was not working. No light in staircase or the hall way. WC is on one side of the room in a closet and shower and sink on the other side. The area is so unsafe that the receptionist said they had to keep the main door locked in the evening. Our bathroom door was broken, and the knob was on the sink. They did not even bother to fix it.

Charming old hotel with interesting keys and a tiny elevator that opens on the stairs, not on the actual floor! The staff were lovely and the location was amazing being next to the train station and métros. It is an old European hotel, so if you're comfortable with that, then this is great place to stay at for convenience and price.
