The hotel is run down and woman at front dest was extremely rude! She had no manners and thinks she can be disrespectful to hotel guest! When we were sleeping someone was trying to open our door. The room is no smoking yet smelled like smoke. The location is good if traveling by train. Cabs are expensive to travel to iconic locations. The roads outside hotel under construction. Very hard to get out.

I like the $17 Euro Breakfast downstairs in the dungeon where there’s an actual knight statue in armor plate with a semi-sharp knife) on display :). Very centrally & conveniently located if your taking the Eurostar!

Plenty of restaurants around the area. Transit is close by. The photo of the room is a bit deceiving. It’s a lot smaller than what showed in the photo.

My husband and I recently visited Paris for the first time, hoping for a relaxing trip, but unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was an absolute disaster. Despite paying for our stay until January 2nd, 2025, we left early and had to change our flight due to the unbearable conditions. Firstly, the bathroom was blocked, which was incredibly inconvenient. The noise levels were unbearable throughout the stay — from loud conversations at the reception desk to constant footsteps and voices echoing in the halls all night. The lady receptionist, who was extremely rude, seemed to be on the phone and screaming for hours every night, making it impossible for us to get any sleep. One night, my husband had to go downstairs at 3 a.m. just to ask her to quiet down, but there was no apology, only more rudeness. Additionally, the hotel offered no basic amenities that are typically standard, such as slippers or complimentary coffee and tea. We were also told there were no extra blankets available, which is unheard of in any decent hotel. To make matters worse, if we needed toilet paper, we had to go downstairs to the reception to ask for it ourselves. No one would bring it to our room. This was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had, and we’ve traveled to many countries and stayed in various accommodations. We arrived in Paris excited to explore the city, but we ended up feeling like we needed to escape just to get some rest. The hotel ruined our entire trip. Please don’t waste your money.

Stayed for 2nites. Other than being next to the train station Gard de Nord. Area is rough with lots of rowdy men hanging in every part of streets at night fall. Long bath with no curtains means bath room is always wet. Bath water will seep thru into room n soaked up floor mat in no time. Beds are hard. 1 small pillow each. 2 person 2 medium suit case fill elevator to brim. No hot water flask. Bring yr own! Disposable cups are provided only 1st day n no replenishment thereafter. To be fair there are many hotels opp station but would say New Paris is by far a better one.
