We've been here a couple times before and were shocked to see all the renovations they've done. They now have a gorgeous lounge area with a small pool table, TV, and places to play board games which they also provide. There's complimentary coffee and hot chocolate in there too. The lounge area has a gorgeous view, fireplace, and access to a patio BBQ. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly. My only complaint this time is the toilet paper of all things. First, the bathroom is very small and where the holder is installed my husband can't sit straight as his legs it it. Also, it's not regular toilet paper. It's individual little napkins, like kleenex, and it falls apart really easy so you have to use a ton of it.

Nice room, friendly staff. Been coming here for 50 years and this time was pleasantly surprised by the upgrades. The stairs are too steep for mobility challenged guests. This is the primary reason it only got four stars. Recommend it as a good choice in the area.

Checking in went smoothly with friendly staff. Our room was recently upgraded with modern bathroom sink and shower, kitchen sink, and plenty of USB outlets. The patio doors to the balcony faced unobstructed into the beach and ocean. The room was very spacious and served us well.

What a diamond in the rough! You wouldn’t know it from the front of the property but the king bed ocean view room was an absolute gem! This little fully renovated “motel” type hotel sits next door to a huge resort but it shines brighter! I could hear the street traffic at the front door of the room but that is a minuscule point, especially while I was sitting on the rooms private ocean view balcony, with a huge 10ft door sliding door!

I enjoy returning to this property because of the spectacular beach outside my patio door and the relaxing comfortable atmosphere. The rooms have been renovated recently and are lovely, there were a couple of small details that needed attention, and the staff was very receptive when told about it. My only real complaint is that the ceiling to floor blind blocks the view completely. It is difficult to pull back up as well as being noisy, waking my companion in the morning. That said, I will definitely be returning anyway.
