Very nice hotel in a quiet part of Jomtien. A good and varied selection for breakfast, with literally any food you could think of within walking distance. The only thing that I could complain about is that they are currently refreshing some of the rooms and there can be a smell of varnish outside your hotel room.

Okay to try but wouldn't go back

We stayed at the Avalon and it looked nice in the photos but when we arrived it was tired and old and doors and lights were dusty and hallway carpets stained. Bathrooms were also mouldy in places and could do with a deep clean. I also got food poisoning from the satay chicken at the hotel but staff didn't understand I was really ill for 3/4 days.

I will honestly say I don’t think I would stay here at this property again. For the following reasons. - There was no hot water was only warm and the water pressure was variable no matter what time of day. - The air conditioning unit was very loud and sounded like a jet. So loud that you would almost have to yell to have a conversation. - The room smelled moldy and musty. - The entire hotel decor in rooms & common areas is very old needs updated / remodeled and reminds me of 1970’s Iraq / Middle East palace feel. - The beds are very hard, lumpy and uncomfortable. - We did bring issues to management due to mold smell & AC noise in room 228. They moved us to 229. But had same issues. - Breakfast was sub par, coffee machine was Luke warm, orange juice was powder orange food coloring. Even the omelette station was under cooked & was not hot. Non of the food was hot. Even the pastry’s were stale and not fresh. - I ordered margaritas and pepperoni pizza one evening, sat out at the bar by the street watching the sunset. The margaritas were extremely small in a very small child like sippy cup. I ask for crispy pizza still came out under cooked. - Wood decking around pool has holes and rotten wood so watch your step as you walk around, hope not to get wood splinters in your feet. Over all very clean, safe, convenient over across the street to the beach convenient to entertainment. But it’s kind of a hike walk to any bakeries or coffee shops. Staff very nice & polite

Quality and high standards still there!

This was second time staying at this hotel. The location is great and the staff wonderful. I find that the bed is a bit off from what I am use to at home but it was clean and did it’s job.

Location was fine. Pity wifi service was marginal all the time Shame public toilets across the road drifted unpleasant odours with prevailing wind on to the front terrace Nice pool however having said that very reasonably priced so really depends on what is important.

I traveled alone to Pattaya for a few days of relaxing holiday and this hotel provided me the space! It's located right at the beach and hotel staff is very friendly. The pool is nice and so are the breakfast options as well as lunch/dinner. Would return again!

Probably the best hotel in Jomtien. Excellent pool and good service for when the wifi stopped working, on average twice every day. The whole town feels a bit tired and lazy, to be fair the staff were all very good but don’t expect a business class hotel
