The staff is so sweet and attentive. The food was delicious ! However the property itself needs to be updated. The tents are way too small for two beds and there’s no space to move around. The fact that they don’t supply toiletries and basic towels it’s insane . I was going to spend two nights there but I decided for only one because of this ! I am former military so I don’t need much accommodations but basic is always necessary especially when it’s not a cheap stay ! Thank you to the kind staff !

I stayed for one night and we were a group of 5. I felt in love with this place. The beach is so beautiful! Everything was super clean. It was quiet and relaxing. The free Dominican style breakfast was very good and loved the mango juice which was delicious. The bathrooms were super clean and the outdoor ones as well. I’m planning to book again next year. This is a hidden gem.

The place is in the most remote area of the dominican. There is not a lot there. The beauty of the area is outstanding They really try to accommodate. . Its not the rent. Its the location. Bring extra water and snacks. Pack a cooler. Full tank of gas. Adjust expectations and enjoy. Beds are clean Tents clean Boats to beaches and caves. Massive iguanas if you are lucky to see. Book it. .

Me gustó mucho mi casa de campaña, acondicionada para descansar en la noche, ya que la temperatura era más fresca dadas las condiciones climáticas. La experiencia de despertar frente a la playa fue muy bonita. Sin embargo, hubo varios detalles que afectaron la estadía: los baños en ocasiones no tenían agua para descargar y las puertas no cerraban bien, lo que restaba privacidad. El servicio del restaurante fue muy lento, especialmente en horario de cena, pues conseguir la atención de un mesero implicaba pasar bastante tiempo en la mesa. Además, varios platos del menú ya no estaban disponibles. El desayuno se comenzaba a servir después de las 8:40 a.m., debido a que los empleados no llegaban a tiempo. El café lo servían en vasos de papel porque no contaban con tazas, y al pedir una Coca-Cola pequeña solo disponían del tamaño grande. Por otro lado, realizamos un tour con ellos y cabe destacar que fueron responsables en el paseo, tanto en la salida como en la recogida. En ese momento, el sargazo estaba presente en la playa de Bahía de las Águilas. Aun así, disfrutamos de una playa cercana a las rocas, donde el agua estaba clara y magnífica. También brindan seguridad para los vehículos y huéspedes en todo momento, en especial durante la noche, lo cual fue muy valorado. Se nota que están en un proceso de remodelaciones y cambios, por lo que quizás en una próxima oportunidad la experiencia pueda ser mejor.

Glamping by the beach

We stayed at the glamping site just before Bahía de las Águilas and had a really memorable experience. The tents were simple but comfortable, with two beds inside. Bathrooms and showers are shared, which is expected for this type of stay, and everything was clean and functional. The place was surprisingly busy, even on a weekday — but it was still vacation season and there was also a ship in the port, so the next day at the beach there were quite a few boats and visitors. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere at the glamping was lively in a good way. The restaurant on-site was excellent, much more developed than we expected, and full of people in the evening enjoying good food. We also had the chance to see a meteor shower during our stay, which made the night even more magical. The water in this area is absolutely stunning, and waking up by the ocean was unforgettable. Overall, it’s a unique and fun experience — perfect if you want to do something different from the usual hotels. Definitely recommend it.

This was our second time here, and the place has grown the service was very poor, only one person to take care of over 40 people the server took over an hour to take the order and it’s the only restaurant in the premises or area unfortunately would not recommended.

The only nice thing there is the panoramic view, the carp is very uncomfortable the heat is unbearable, the safety is only a zipper to close the carp, the space inside is very small with the two beds filled the whole space no where to place the luggage, only one small fan, one night rained and I waked up with water on my bed, the access to this place is terrible, there is many thing to improve to make this eco experience a nice one.

Bahia de las Aguilas is the most beautiful beach in DR. Glamping at the eco lodge was incredible. I cannot wait to go back. The area is very safe and the view is spectacular. The bathrooms were cool, very eco, open air, definitely glamping. At night it was super windy which was really loud in the tent but other than that it was a totally amazing experience. While you are there you need to go snorkeling with Buceo, they have a little place on the same property as the restaurant.
